Is the Funko Pop David Bowie a Good Collectible for Music Fans?
Answer: Yes, the Funko Pop David Bowie is an excellent collectible for music fans, especially those who admire Bowie’s iconic Ziggy Stardust era and his influence on pop culture. As a long-time David Bowie fan, I recently purchased the Funko Pop David Bowie figure to add to my collection. I wanted to know if it was worth the investment and how it compared to other Funko Pop figures of musicians like
Funko Pop Bob Dylan or
Funko Pop Bon Jovi.
- Funko Pop
- A line of vinyl collectible figures produced by Funko, known for their stylized, retro look and pop culture themes.
- David Bowie
- A legendary English musician and actor, known for his innovative music, androgynous style, and cultural impact in the 1970s and beyond.
- Check the design and accuracy: The Funko Pop David Bowie features his signature Ziggy Stardust look, including the red lightning bolt makeup and glittery suit. The attention to detail is impressive for a vinyl figure.
- Compare with other Funko Pop musicians: I compared it with the Funko Pop David Gilmour and Funko Pop Bob Marley. While each has its own charm, the Bowie figure stands out for its bold, theatrical style.
- Consider collectibility and value: The Funko Pop David Bowie is a limited release, which increases its collectibility. It also holds potential for appreciation over time, especially if Bowie’s legacy continues to grow in pop culture.
How Can I Display the Funko Pop David Bowie in My Home?
Answer: The Funko Pop David Bowie can be displayed on a shelf, in a display case, or even as part of a themed room dedicated to 1970s music. I bought the Funko Pop David Bowie to place it in my music-themed living room, which also features a
Funko Pop Dwight and a
Funko Pop Bobby Singer. I wanted to know the best way to showcase it without damaging the figure or making it look out of place.
- Choose a suitable location: I placed mine on a floating shelf in my living room, next to my vinyl record collection. This gave it a natural, curated look.
- Use a display stand or case: For added protection, I used a clear acrylic display stand. This is especially useful if you live in a dusty environment or have pets.
- Coordinate with other Funko Pops: I grouped the Funko Pop David Bowie with other music-themed figures like Funko Pop Bill and Funko Pop David Bisbal to create a mini-music museum.
